Schwoosch!

A week ago I thought: “This apartment is so small, packing it will go in a jiffy.” Today I realized I have used eight moving boxes, and with only two left, things are getting a little tight. I do really have more stuff than when I moved in :)

Yes, we are moving out of the apartment. The contract expires on the 2nd of February, four days from now, and by then everything needs to be cleaned out.

This was Norgegatan, before everything broke loose:

D80

In December i finally got around to buy myself a new camera. I decided on the Nikon D80, the D90 wasn’t worth the cost now that the camera stores dump the prices on the slightly aging D80. At least this SLR is way better than the trusty old Canon G2.

The camera came with the Nikkor 50mm F/1.8 lens, a real gem. Complemented with the 18-70 IF-ED that Klintemys kindly has lent me and a SB-800 flash unit that I got for a bargain, I now own a performing set of camera gear.

Naturally, I’ve been taking a lot of photos, many of which have been published in the photo gallery.

The winter holiday didn’t come a day too early, I needed to get a lot of rest after the course in Complex Analysis, without doubt the most difficult course I’ve ever undertaken. I passed the exam with excellent results, of course, and I forbade myself to open another textbook for the rest of 2008. I celebrated Christmas Eve together with my family in Västerås.
