Hail and snow

This year’s winter has been very lacking in terms of snow, but the last day or two there has been both snowfall and hail here in southern Sweden. Very strange indeed…one moment the sun shines brightly, and at the blink of an eye there is snow and hail, but the sun keeps on shining.

I now have two weeks of well-deserved Easter holiday. I have passed the math exam I had last week, and I believe my grades will be good as soon as I get the results. I did my very best, and used all the energy I could muster for the exam. When I came home to my parent’s home this weekend I had a headache, was very tired, and needed a week-long rest. These days I’ve been doing nothing and nothing at all. So, nothing to write about :)

Music

February passed by quick. I really haven’t blogged enough, for what I only can apologize.

I finally took the plunge and bought a Yamaha CP300, a professional stage piano, for my piano practising needs. I had long been looking for a good electronic piano with superior feel and action. I finally settled for the CP300, which appealed to me as being a high-quality instrument.

I have already been practising a lot, and have made good progress with Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu.

In two weeks I’ll have a very nice course final in Calculus in one variable, part 2. In the extended holiday that will follow I might travel to Switzerland and my old hometown of Zürich for a week. Nothing has been decided yet, so I’ll see how things progress.
