Hi Jonathan,
I really like reading your blog, I came across it when trying to set up may TV card, and I found it very useful.
However, I can’t vote for UBUNTU. I have had two big issues with it, viz. external USB drives, and the fact that sudo stopped after a reboot. It is a pity, because I really liked the interface -nicer than SuSE (although that remains at or near the top of my list). I put Fedora core 6 on after Ubuntu failed me, and this has been running like a dream – very stable and dependable.
Anyway, keep up the blog, and may you have calm seas and fair winds.
Karel
