Thanks for the firmware, I needed for these for my Hauppauge USB NOVA-T Stick.
@Dewi:
Glad I could help you! I had a bit trouble finding these files when I needed them, you didn’t
Thank you very much for these firmware files – I am very grateful! Also, I wish you all the best with your boat, I found your blog a very interesting read and insightful.
Jonathon,
Thanks for the HOWTO. If anyone is running Gentoo, the firmware drivers are collected together in an ebuild called, linuxtv-dvb-firmware, including the one you mention.
Thanks for all the positive input!
Thank you!
I was looking for the 0700 driver for my AverMedia DVB-T Volar USB-stick.
Any chance of putting that driver on linuxtv.org?
@Danai:
I have no idea whatsoever about the license on this file. I only have them here to make it easier for others to find.
Cheer man,
Worked a treat on Fedora Core 6. Seems wierd that the drivers are included but not the firmware. I guess it’s just more complicated than that and I’m missing something. Maybe’s?
Thanks again.
Many thanks for dvb-usb-dib0700-xx.fw !

You made my day!!!
Cheers mate, saved a load of mucking about………… yours a star
i have an old twinhan 7041 that works fine with kaffeine
i tried using the Haup USBstick T drivers …. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

the Twinham loads up and runs on hotpluging..
the usb2 stick justabout registers in “lsusb” and that is all.. im beginning to get angry………..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… LOL

happy now
got my usbTstick to work by renaming the 0700.1.10.fw found elsewhere:
http://www.wi-bw.tfh-wildau.de/~pboe…ib0700-1.10.fw
and renamed it …….0700-01.fw
worked a treat then… but didnt from the tared file above..dunno why…
Any chance of posting an un-munged version of that link? Thanks.
