Final school day!

After a long time in school and many preparations, the big day is very close. I will graduate tomorrow Friday the 9th of June from ABB Industrial Highschool i Västerås. I have a tight scheudle tomorrow and will be doing many things.

7:30: Breakfeast with champagne at Aros Congress Center followed by signing each other’s studentmössor
9:00: Ending ceremony, I will perform with Ritual Fire Dance by Manuel de Falla and show a slideshow from the last three years. Scolarships are also given to a few students.

After that we get our grades from our teachers. I have an average of 19.68 “grade points”, where 20.00 is the maximum.

10:30: Photography at the Ottar office, the ABB Headquarters of Västerås

11:00: Sten Jakobsson, CEO of ABB Sweden AB, gives a speech for all graduated students and we recieve a graduation diploma from him

11:30: The traditional “run” from the Ottar stairway and we sing Studentsången backed-up by Västerås Big Band. This concludes our education on ABB Industrigymnasium

12:00: Another Swedish tradition; going round and round the city core in a large truck decorated by birch branches and bragging about how good we are. All schools do this at the same time and at the same place as us.

14:30: Celebration in my home

19:00: Me and my friends go to Sundbyholm for a private party. I am not 18 years old yet, and therefore I cannot attend the official parties downtown.

~02:00: Asleep

Now a proud member of Piratpartiet

I joined the Piracy Party (Piratpartiet) today. It cost me 5 SEK (€ 0.6) and a few minutes of work. I feel strongly for the issues that Piratpartiet brings to discussion, and I hope that they get over the 4%-limit required to get into the Swedish Parliament.

Elida, foot and graduation

Today is the 4th of June, and despite what I reported in an earlier blog entry, Elida V was not to be launched today. A few days ago, there was a small notice on their homepage stating that the launch has been delayed for a few weeks. The new launch date will be announched during week 23.

My foot is getting better, and I can walk without crutches now. A couple of days ago, my foot had a purple color on almost all over the right side, but the color is gradually fading away. I am still sore, but I don’t need no bandages anymore.

Less than a week until graduation now!

Googling my blog

I am having problems with my blog getting fond on Google. As it seems, it has never been indexed even though I’ve been having the blog here for almost a year. I have submitted the site several times, although nothing happens. I will have to investigate further about this issue.
