Project Voxel – Delivery problems

Just got an e-mail from George. He reported a problem with the delivery of the HC12 cards. Our supplier, www.nohau.se, has changed the delivery date to the end of May, when the project will be long overdue. The bad thing is that we already ordered, and according to their original offer the equipment would be delivered tomorrow. We are looking for a new supplier right now, and in the meantime I recommend everyone considering ordering from nouhau.se to think one extra time.

Project Voxel – Xirmat 0.01 completed (and inofficially released)

Thanks to my friends in the Maths group in Project Voxel I have been able to complete the matrix calculator called Xirmat. It has reached version 0.01 and is able to dump the individual frames in text format to stdout.

Now we “just” have to make it go out on a real LED display.

The group is now organizing very well, and I can focus on programming instead of answering people’s questions.

Project Voxel – Work

The project group has been divided into smaller groups such as Maths, Electronics and Mechanics. I am a bit between Electronics and Maths since I work with the programming part. First I have to write a program that pre-calculates the individual frames.
