Watched the Guide yesterday, amazing movie. Especially liked the whale (which was loyal to the book), but was disappointed by “I had to go down to the cellar”.

Me and my friends will probably watch the Hitchhikers Guide movie tomorrow. It seems like an awesome movie, but I hope I won’t be disappointed since I’ve read the books.

Got the problem solved. I killed the firefox process and started it up again, and it seems to work much better now.

I’ve been trying out the new Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 release here at my school computer, and it feels really snappy and happy. Just now, I ran into some kind of strange problem. The whole browser feels very sluggish, it is almost impossible to change to other tabs, nothing happens when you click on it. The only way to scroll is to drag the scroll bar, clicking the scroll bar arrows or the bar itself doesn’t do anything, PgUp nor PgDown give any reaction, the mouse scroll is dead, and the arrow buttons don’t do anything. Kinda frustrating since I need my webbrowser to work.
I suspect it’s one of the themes causing problems, and I use the iFox theme.

Yesterday I voted in the elections for the Swedish Church. Since you only need to be 16 years old to vote in that election this was the first time ever I voted. I also saw a football game with a few of my friends at Råby IP, a game which “our” tem won by three to one.
Started with the fifth maths course at our highschool, called “Matematik E” in Sweden. We are currently studying the world of complex numbers, and it is great fun.
The bike still works perfectly, and I expect to be able to ride it many years before I have to replace it completely.

Just got back my bike, and now it’s got a new derailer and gear wire. Compared to what it felt like riding it before, the difference is total. No more scraping against the chain nor problems with gear change. The bike feels almost new.

I’ve created a basic PHP script (swedish only) which counts down to my examination. Perfect to show those second-graders how few days we’ve left! No, the code is not neat, but I’m trying to save bandwidth since the link probably will be spread all around the city’s thirdgraders. No, it’s probably not valid (X)HTML (not checked, though).

create your own visited countries map
Hm, I got a lot fewer countries than I thought. I think the reason for that is that even though I’ve been doing a lot of travelling (I’m born in Switzerland) I most visit the same countries, and mostly the Central European countries. I’ve never been to America nor Africa, but probably I’ll be going to California during Christmas.
Hopefully, the bike will be fixed today. The reason for the delay is that the repair shop got a delay from their supplier, and that the derailer wasn’t sent to them before yesterday. I really want to be able to bike again, since busriding is quite boring.

Started editing the movie I shot during my three-week stay in India earlier this year. Since this trip was organized by the school, we are having a presentation on it next week, and we’ll be using the film instead of presenting it ourselves.
I am using Adobe Premiere 1.5, and the movie footage is about 90 minutes. Yesterday I started cutting the movie down to individual scenes, takes some time but I’ve already come through half the movie. After that comes the hard part, the real editing. The movie shall be 6-7 minutes long, but I think that I have enough footage to make it into a good movie.

Left my bike for reparation yesterday, and the only solution is to replace the whole derailer. It will cost me a few hundred SEK, and that includes the work and replacing the control wire.
I also went running yesterday. I ran a few kilometers along the Svartå river, and for the first time I went with a backpack loaded with 4 kg:s of books.
